Why We Do It
We believe all families all want the best for their children. We know that actively engaged families are good for kids!
How We Do It
By providing access to Staten Island resources, inviting families to be involved, engaged, and lead in our work, while teaching families to advocate for themselves.
How We Will Measure Success
The Staten Island Alliance will use the following criteria to monitor the success of outcomes for our family engagement efforts:
An increase in the number and percent of parents and/ or caregivers who report actively promote learning and healthy development in the home and community.
An increase in the number and percent of parents and/or caregivers who report involvement at a child’s pre-school or elementary school.
