SI Alliance – Staten Island Alliance for North Shore Children & Families

Community Wellness

Strengthening linkages between early childhood stakeholders and improving their ability to support children and families.
🌍

Increasing Cultural Competency

The SI Alliance Community Wellness Working Group has successfully advanced its mission by empowering and connecting community members to resources that support improved quality of life. We developed a comprehensive Resource Hub that enables organizations, individuals, and families to easily access services across the North Shore community. Through this effort, the working group sustained and expanded the hub by researching local organizations and connecting families to a wide range of supports—not only for children ages 0–8, but for the entire family. Additionally, we strengthened engagement with alliance members through quarterly newsletters and active participation in community events.

The backbone organization maintains and expands the Resource Hub by onboarding new partners while enabling existing SIA partners to manage their own profiles. By highlighting North Shore resources, the hub connects families, individuals, and partners—strengthening cross-sector community partnerships.
